If you own a pair, you understand. I had my favourite machinist make me these two piece aluminium bushings. They are solid, don’t make noise, and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
Well, its been slow at my day job and so I figured with my truck down (transmission) and being forced to drive my civic everyday I would do a few things. One being the brakes. And, I figured while they were new and bare metal already I’d powder-coat them this cool color I got from Prismatic. I also did two old snap-on ratchets in a Blue RAL color texture. It is important to note, that I did not media blast the brake parts. I did disassemble them, degrease, gas out, and then coat them. They were alreayd bare metal and I dont have a portable blaster. I also used an old toaster on its side. Speaking of which my home made large oven is working really well.
